Field recordings in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts

This playlist features recordings made in connection with Double Edge Theatre’s “Latin American Spectacle,” which took place in Jamaica Plain, MA, in May 2016. The performance featured members of Double Edge Theatre, the Charlestown Working Theater, and youth participants from the Hyde Square Task Force. These recordings were made using binaural microphones, to capture the spatial effect of moving along with the performers through different interior and exterior spaces.
